Club night from art-festival "UPfest"

January 28, party did make a noise off! Or rather it was first UPday - UPnight Drum'n'bass Party in the night club "METRO". There was a large number of people as this event was well promoted by the organizers in social sphere and was advertised in our city.

The right drive the public got from step-dance workshop of xZEALOTx (Lviv Step Team). The atmoshere insired with positive during the whole night. Hot music of unique mix of drum'n'bass, funk, ethno-reggae, Breakz, Turntablizm, Dubstep from dj Left Behind, dj Troublemaker, dj xZealotx haven't left doubts concerning appropriateness and idea of this project. Noone has left indifferent to refined taste of dj's sets, feeling of the music, styles and context. Many of the attenders appreciated dj's skills in feeling of mood and reaction of people present at the party. Especially the original drum-cover of composition "Radisno Tak" of lutsk "flies" high-lighted on the party as well. Nevertheless, one of these "flies" Tima did not miss UPnight and got huge satisfaction from this.

A vanguard dmc Shumin kept up the mood of present party people in a bright and positive way. Vj-ing from art studio LIME, Bartenders Arts from "METRO" bartender school and Body-art completed the whole picture of this party in the best traditions of night life.

In general, UPnight Drum'n'bass Party went very succesful. It makes us happy that Drum'n'bass trend widen it's horizons and gathers more and more fans around it. What is left is to say Thank You to organizers and express the will of all of us to meet on such events again. And that was only first UPday this year. To be continued... UPfest — UPrave

«UPfest» is a festival of music and art, one of the biggest festivals in Ukraine. It's program includes concerts on 4 stages, more than 30 workshops in different spheres, seminars, theatrical shows, films and many other interesting events.

The festival is interenational from its beginning, as invited bands, seminar and workshop leaders, guests come here from different countries, such as Great Britain, Poland, Sweden, USA, Switzerland, Bielorussia.

Information for all the participants who are coming from other cities: The festival is not providing participants with a living place on the festival's territory, as this whole event is happening in the center of the city. So here is info about hotels and hostels at which it is possible to stop.

The festival will be starting on 11 in the morning and lasting to 12 at night.



There will be nearly 40 different workshops during the festival! Such as, electro-guitar, base-guitar, drums, DJ skratching, the hairdressing, psychology of a colour, the wickerwork, everything about dreads, frisbee, hip-hop, capoeira, le parkour, creating of the breadboard models, plastic arts and others.
